Havering
Havering is one of London's eastern boroughs and was formed in 1965. The four main towns are Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Rainham. The name Havering was first recorded in the 12th century but is was not a major settlement until Havering Palace was built for Edward the Confessor in the 15th century.
